Now how annoying does John Madden get. Real annoying. At first its cool because he says new stuff. But Madden games in general are lousy. I think Madden should stop making games. No disrespect to John Madden Your an awesome announcer in real life. and Im sure your a decent guy but Madden games are missing that spark that NFL 2K games have. I think they will always out rank Madden games. I know Madden came out first but 2k games are just more fun than Madden games!

Madden NFL 2002 for PS2 " SUCKS " The gameplay is too slow. The hit's are Lame. John Madden Talks to much. If you ask me NFL 2k2 would Kill Madden any day anywhere. So for that i rate Madden for fun Factor an 1.0

This game is of a long series of madden games that have the exact same plot. The main difference in every game is the graphics, the gameplay never has been much of a difference. The main reason i didn't like this game that much is because college football games are much better than any nfl game.

Man EA Sports got everything right in this game. I've played and played this game and still havent got enough. This game has all the features facial features so that you can reconize your favorite player. Grass stains on the uniforms that give the game the extra needed touch. The commentary doesnt repeat that much and the special features put this game on the gaming pedastal.

Before i got my ps2 i was a big fan of the nfl2k series on the dreamcast. The speed in that game is great. I remember my friend brought his ps2 to my house and we played madden 2002. I must admit that at that time i hated the game. I thought it was slow and to sluggish. I kicked my friend out and told him to take his little playstation with him. A couple of months later i bought a ps2 and my brother picked up madden 2002. At this time the dreamcast was dead and gone(which greatly saddened me), so I decided to give madden a whirl. After i got used to the difference of speed between madden and nfl2k1 i was hooked. The first time i played madden i hated it because i was used to the faster 2k series. But i came to realize that madden was a deeper and more realistic game. Too bad i cant play it anymore(my ps2 no longer reads blue discs. go figure!) but none the less this is still the best football experience on any system. Pick it up if you dont have it already, its well worth it.

This game is slow as hell. Madden got really annoying like he always does and computer is as dumb as my dog. However the graphics are cool. This game gets old reallly quick.

I have to give complete credit to the makers of Madden 2002. When I played 2001 I didn't think it could get much better but man was i proved wrong. Everything is so detailed that the game in my eyes are flawless. I love the Challenge option the Franchise mode is off the hook. It just don't get no better then Madden. If you want a Football game this is the one you want.

I am a person who plays many different types of videogames and sports is also one of them. Although its the least played genre in my collection, Madden 2002 is turning that all around for me. Since I shelled out $50 for this game I constantly find myself in front of my t.v, game after game, juke after juke, sack after sack. This year's Madden edition is extremely fun, the players are so realistic I nearly get an orgasm looking at them!?!. Um, but on another note I think the controls are easy to pick up and run away with. This is coming from a person who doesn't have much experience with football games. The in game sound is uncanny and it is so beautifully mastered. If you listen closely in replay mode you can hear the screams of players who just got burnt or missed a tackle! The fun factor to this game is endless. Single player or with a friend is equally fun. It will be a while before I put this game in to retirement!

Everything is preety much tight in Madden 2002 expect it hard to catch the ball. The graphics are some of the best Ive ever seen. The sound is preety much goofy compared to 2k2. The controls are bugging. And so is madden 2002.

I love this game. I got a ps2 for christmas and this game was number 1 on my list. This is simply the best football game on the market. Blitz 20-02 is hot on Madden's tail though. Don't listen to cgbballa55 he's probably high. O yeah, Gameday sucks.
