When i first heard about another Crash game this time on the PS2, I just HAD to have it! but i heard that the renowned naughty dog isn't doing Crash i was somewhat disappointed, but that wasn't gonna stop me... As we all know the graphics for Crash on the Playstation was great for that time period... But He was getting an whole new look for the PS2 system which was superb to me ( a die hard crash fan). These ar the reasons I think Crash The Wrath of Cortex is great... First of all the storyline is just better than the others by far! Cortex has his evil posse at the table and Mask UKA-UKa is gonna use the earth elements: fire rain etc.... The gameplay & graphics are nicely put together as well. Crash even has new vehicles to use like a jeep and a jet rocket! And Coco is fully playable as well, she has a scooter...oh i forgot one thing, in the beginning of the levels that Crash goes on he has a rolling cage that i think it's fun..... The only negative i have about Crash iss the loooooonng loading time! other than that, I think it's a success in my view point.

Welcome back.Crash bandicoot is back in a new game called Wrath Of Cortex.Another onslaught of evil has taken over the world of crash and now he has a new enemy a super bandicoot named crunch bandicoot who is programmed by cortex the dude with a big N on his head to kill crash.Plus cortexe's evil freind who is a mask named uka uka is back to also help him.He releases all the other elemental masks.Fire Water Earth and Wind.With all new action packed levels and masks that intereact with a crunch you know crash has some serious work to do , being smart is not easy for him but he manages to get the job done.While going through the levels there are bonus levels and secret gems that you must get for breaking all boxes in a level.Another important thing is power crystals that you get in the levels which open up another warp area and more levels for you to go through.The final battle is hard but you manage to save the day again and put cortex away for good.Overall a classic game and hope to see another maybe on ps3 hopefully!

Crash Bandicott Wrath of Cortex is the same game that you played on your original Playstation or PSone. Konami and Travelors Tales who took over for Naughty Dog who created the original Crash Bandicoot games for the Psone left Crash Bandicoot franchise for the PS2. The games graphics are more colorful than the psone ones but the only thing that gets me upset is the long and I mean long loadtimes like 40 seconds for the game to load. You enter a zone and it has to load, you clear a zone and it has to load. This game is fun if you are a huge fan of Crash plus you get to play as Crash's sister Coco.

The first game I ever got for the PS2 was Crash Bandicoot: Wrath of Cortex. So playing it was great, because I didn't know anything better than that. After a few more games, I played this game again. That's when I realized that this game is still stuck in the year 1999. At first thats not a bad idea. The game is basically just Crash 3 with better graphics.Unfortunaly, something bad happened. Okay, as good as the graphics of Crash: WOC is, they are not envelop-pushing. With that I ask: Why does it take 40-50 sec. to load everything. I know this game came out close to the launch, but 40-50 sec. for a crash game is ridiculuos. But if you can get past the load times, there's still a fun game to play. The platforming, racing levels, and the cool hamsterball levels are fun to play. All in all, it's a good game if you have alot of time and patience.

sorry Crash, just not good enough, I hate it when you're falling into another dimenson and when your sister bonks you in the head with her fat butt. Overall, not worth the money.

This game takes forever to load. Crash falls into and infinite demension for like 3 1/2 minutes to load and then the levels are really short and easy. Like I said in the title, this game is crap!

What a dissapointment! Crash used to be so good! But now it's not as good as it used to be!AND AND IT TAKES SO LONG TO LOAD!!! I'm watching Crash fall and fall and I'm ready to throw the disk out the WINDOW!!! That's a problem. The game isn't that bad. THe gamplay hasn't changed. THe graphics are better but playing this game is still not better than #1,2, or 3. THis game is a dissapointment!

The game was prety good. the graphics were good and all of the texures were the best. the sound was good and the water was very nice

Crash was always a favorite in my collection of games. But the new Crash ain't very good at all. It's the same thing as with Crash 3. The next time someone makes Crash, make 'em good. Graphics-3.5 Sound-3.0 Control-2.5 Fun Factor-3.0
