there is no game out right now in any console that can compare to the graphix of quake 3. this is and has been the best game ever since it was played on mac and pc. this is the daddy of doom 3 and the godfather of first person shooters. this is the shooter to end all shooters

I disagree withothers that this game is great. It jut doesn't sui my taste. Get the Unreal Tournament.

This is one hell of a rush! get a friend and have at it! or if its just you, its still excellent. I didn't think it would be as cool as UnReal, but after playing Quake III, I got ride of UnReal cause it just couldn't match up!

Thats if you can get past the minute (literally) it takes to load each level althought if you hit replay after playing one it takes no loading time to play it again. Get a drink while its loading because after its done loading youre in for one wild ride. =)

Quake 3 is great.It is awesome in all catagorys.Replay value is goood for multiplayer and the graphics and sound are pretty good.Big fun and thrills.

awsome game good everything but the selection of the weapons is kinda weak but oter than that cool oh ya the mena is weird control 4.5 graphics 5.0 sound 4.5

Excellent FPS,i liked timesplitters to a point but i find this game much easier to control and the graphics are better too,the gameplay is fun for 1 player and even better for two. If you like FPS games then this is for you.

When you hear about FPS on consoles you usually think of these as stripped-down low quality and it pains me to hear that but this game pains me more.This game really rocks but really has a problem about controls and since this game has NO MOUSE AND KEYBOARD SUPPORT you are stuck with the slow and unresponsive controler.And when you think about it the Dreamcast beat this one without even having to have more stuff features blah blah blah.But the Quake touch still includes a killer game engine , how it stands out as a FPS game and how it stands as a party game and boy does this game feature all those stuff.Fast-paced action is second to none to slightly to semibadly glitched controls and the games fragfest itself will let you forget such shortcommings.Although its a shame that your still stuck with limitations on the conrols side and lag on the multiplayer side but these elements are not strong enough to beat the type of fragfest that this game delivers and most of all how fun it is to play against youtr friends and that can take away the void controls left on this great game.
