Super Mario Advance is a very fun and addictive sidescroller. Except for the graphics that are a little bit lame, even for GBA. Besides that, this is an excellent handheld game.
I loved this Game!

Super Mario Advance was the best game on GBA I've played so far. The quest starts out very easy then as you progess through the levels the gameplay, your reactions to the enemies and the bosses become more difficult. Overall the game was superb and I think people will play and love this game for days to come.
FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN!!!

The only reason you would want to get this game is if you have never played the NES, or SNES vesion of it, it would be much better if they added some extra levels, or some new enemies. If you are a HUGE Mario fan than you should add this to your collection. I give this game a 4.0.
A must-have GBA game.

This game is old news. They should have left this game behind with snes. Don't even think about buying this game. There is nothing new about this game
A classic coming back..

I remember when i was playing the classic Mario 2. At the time , the graphics were very good and the collect and throw concept was revolutionary.. The game , shortly, was a great one... It was very different from the original Mario Bros. You didn't have to collect coins to get lives and the energy system was more like Zelda's.. The reason was that at first the game was not supposed to be a Mario Bros. game but another game called Doki Doki panic..(only got out in japan) They edited it and called it Mario 2 . The Mario advance game is the perfect pocket game, It is the same old Mario 2 , only that the graphics and sound has been given a BIG update. At the opening, Two options, Single player and multiplayer.. In the single player mode you can choose between Mario 2 and the original arcade game Mario Bros. For those who have'nt played Mario Bros. it is pretty close to battle mode in Mario 3. If you finish the game there is the yoshi mode where you have to find yoshi eggs along the way. And in multiplayer it is the Mario Bros. game only but you can play up to 4 players with only 1 cartridge. Also besides of the new modes, there is the graphical and audio update. Graphics looks a little like Mario 2 in all-stars but with some new elements, Big shyguys and new bosses In the indergrounds feris wheels that looks like if they were designed for Yoshi island (they look like FX card generated graphics) gigantic POW blocks, bonus hearts that are more cartoony in their looks. Also the addition of voices! Beside Toad's voice , the new voice add a little something that is pleasant.. (Toad looks like he has some kind cold of something) All that makes a great game that I could play for a long time.. The replay value is good, with the arcade game add-up, when you're finished with Mario 2, you still can play Mario Bros. with your friends.. In conclusion, Mario 2 is one perfect game to own!
