i didnt like what i saw oh sure the graphics are good but the gameplay has some issues you cant turn around (at least in the levels i played) the config isnt the best if you want a true shooting\action game get a ps2

ive played a lot of games this is the best so far halo is number one and i can only rank this up to 5 first of all congradulation on getting a xbox now u can get halo i also recamend dead or alive 3 cel damage and progect gothem racing

First of all the controller sucks, it is alomst just like Dreamcast just worse, but the gameplay on Halo was spectacular, graphics are not much better from PS2 to XBOX. What I like about this title is that you can have up to 16 players on an ILink. The cehicles on thistitle are cool but the control is the worst, at least on Red Faction the vehicles are much easier to control. If you want a game that is better get Tribes 2 for PC, or Red Faction for Playstation 2. Halo is the game to get if you like a good shotter.

Halo proves to the world that the Xbox can have some great games. It has an awesome story, amazing graphics, great sound qualities, and easy controls. Halo is without a doubt the best game on the Xbox and the best FPS since Half-Life

I thank Halo is one of the best First Person Shooters that I can thank of.Even at the Beginning when it wasnt even out I knew It was going to be the best,The sound,Music,Story line,Graphics,everythang,and most and all the Vechiles and guns......

This game sucks the sound is so anoying and its no challenge to me MetaL Gear solid 2 can beat it anyday and you cant even turn around plus its not that hard and what elses is their to say even buy a ps2 with metal gear solid 2.

I find the best gaming experiences are multiplayer ones. Halo is a step in the right direction. Team based combat is really intense. Its very hard to play a game against AI once you get a taste of a real human opponent. The weapons are balanced rather well and the control scheme is surprisingly good given the brick of a controller. This is the only game worth getting an xbox for.

The games story mode is great, and after you beat that you have a wide range of multiplayer options.

This game is incredible. I was completely entrapped by its story. I often found myself so engulfed that my palms became sweaty and I became scared that the Covenant was going to kill me. The music complimented the game along with the smart AI and the wonderful control pulling this game to a new standard for all Xbox games. I was impressed by Halo's Top Quality! It is a must have for all Xbox gamers. The amount of detail put in this game is amazing. The player can walk up to a wall and tell if it is made of metal. I could even see the different types of metal in the walls. Rocks are also gorgeous to look at. I agree whole heartedly with Gamepro's review except I believe the control deserves a 5.0, even though the vehicles were a bit tough to control I believe it was developed that way on purpose by Bungie. I found some vehicles easier to control then others. It all adds to the game which is a masterful blend of factors that build a perfect game.

i don't like Xbox that much but i love Halo. the only thing bad about the game is the crappy controls. it takes a lot of getting used to but u will get it sooner or later. The only game better then Hale is Devil May Cry.
