Let me make this perfectly clear: this IS NOT a Resident Evil rip-off, this is it's own thing. If anything, it's like Silent Hill with aliens. The plot was unique, the weapon system was a fresh change from the usual "collect diferent weapons" chiche', the music gave the game that extra needed sense of suspense, and the monsters were like something out of contra or the spawn comics. If there is anything I would change, it's that cheesy love story between Dennis and Sylvia. Another thing I would change all toghether is the voice acting. Sometimes the words aren't in sync with the characters' lips. Plus the main character needs better one liners. Dennis sounds too mono-toned. I'm not saying that the people need to have an oscar winning proformance, but a little more effort could have been put in. Other than that, with a little more polish and a better ad campaign, Extermination could have been the survival genre's next big thing. But hey, at least the black guy lives at the end of this horror. ;)

I like this game, and finding a game I like is pretty hard, I think only Halo and a few others have done it, but this game was good, I like the story, I do think it ripped offed "The Thing" a bit but it was still its own, The voices are way off in the cut scences but other then that well done, and at only $17.99 cdn a bargin!

One word, crap. If you're going to rip off Resident evil you better make sure you do it right. This game is a good example of poor game design. Everything from bad graphics, bad control and terrible level design. What were they thinking? It would have been nice if they would have allowed a save anywhere feature. There's nothing worse than almost reaching a save point then getting killed and having to play the whole level again. I'm glad I only paid $10 for the game at Media Play. Buy "The Thing", it's a much better game.

ex. is cool but the gameplay could be better along with the graphics. The controls are good but the missions are too simple; shot the rats, pick up the letters, bet the huge monster. The music and sound are great. They really produce an eerie feeling. Overall I rate this a 4.0. you might want to rent before you buy.

This is a really great game. I might have given the fun factor a 5, but the sound would get a 2. The dialogues and movement of the mouth are really off! Overall, this is a great game for only 20$!

I just HATE games that love to bullsh!! around with a bad story. The game is nothing compaired to Half-Life. If you see it on clearance, walk away!

To tell you the truth,this game is like a knock-off of a Resident Evil game.The puzzles are not at all challenging and the frame rate isn't doing to well either.really the only challenging part of the game is the final boss and it isn't that hard to beat.I'm only going to give this game a 3.0 Before you buy this game borrow it or go rent it to save your money for GTA3 or MGS2.

At first it looked kinda kool so I bought it and it turned out to be worst than Brittney Spears and Garth Brooks singing. Its not even worth trading in that old Game Boy for that crap. It takes a long time to get where you actually need to use the gun, and when you do you just shoot at little leeches that carry viruses. It is the only enemy for a long, long ,lo-o-o-o-ong time.

Im not even sure if this game deserves a 1. And thats the truth. This game a horrible Syphon Filter Sci-Fi wannabe. I strongly recommend starting a riot in your hometown to have this game burned and forgotten.
