This is the only game I know of thatActually tells you what your strong and weak points are. Another nice feature is the clothing feature. There is a nice amount of clothing too. This game is a instant 5.0, The only fault this game might have is the repetivness in all fighting games. Kudos for this game.

By now you've definitely heard about VF4 being one of the best, if not the best fighting game around. Now I own it, and I am one of the biggest fighting game fanatics you will ever meet, and VF4 has more hype than gameplay. The fighting engine is much to shallow; punch, kick, and block. DOA had the same style buttons, but they incorporated it in a good way, but VF4 does not do it justice. The fighting feels empty, and the moves aren't all they're cracked up to be. Yes, I admit it has smooth graphics and easy pick-up-and-play controls, but they don't outweigh the emptiness you feel when you play this game. Tekken 4 easily beats this game to the punch, so please don't give into the hype with VF4.

Why is every one saying this the best fighting game ever made??? Yea its a good dont get me wrong, but i have played better fighting games than this! Its hard to learn it too. But its only 20 bucks so I cant really complain.

Being a big fan of Shenmue and Yu Suzuki being my idol i thought i would write a review of this wonderful game. I have played many fighting games, and for some reason this is still my favorite. If you can look past the cheesy, well, everything than this is one good fighting game. Ok, the grapics. They are good, could have been better and you will see a bunch of jaggies but overall the standup fairly. The sound is what really gets me, its so increadbly cheesy. I mean, the music is OK but sounds like it was almost from a video game 10 years ago and the dialoge of the characters is a disgrace. Ahh, but the gameplay, now thats a differnt story. While it may seem slower paced than other fighters it is acually very good. Just the level of depth and time you could spend learning all the moves and combinations and blocking it could take forever, and thats just with one character. It may seem like a completley differnt game trying to master the controls and moves of a differnt character. While its hard to explain i think the gameplay and engine are what really shines in this title. The gameplay modes are varied, in particuarly one mode where you can earn higher rankings with your character and earn more costumes. Overall, Virtua Fighter 4 is my favorite in the Fighting genre, and i recomend renting as for its not for everyone, but still exelent.

IT sucks! dont buy it. Its actually kind of fun at first but after a few fights your just gonna flip the swith and say to yourself "God this game sucks". Two player mode can be fun and graphics are really nice, but moves are real hard to do. I dont reccomend this game fighting game players. (dont buy it)

VF4 IS A REALLY GOOD GAME. THE GRAPHICS ARE NICE AND CLEAR AND THE CONTROLS ARE TIGHT. THE CHARACTER DESIGNS ARE AMAZING AND ARE FILLED WITH GREAT DETAIL. THE GAMEPLAY IS FIT FOR PROS BUT EASY ENOUGH THAT AMUETERS CAN PICK UP ON THE FUN.

There is no differnce from this game from the other fighting game's, like tekken or other games. This game flawed a little bit. It could have been better, the good thing about this game is the graphics and gamplay. It's a fun game, but just another fighting game. Only differnce is that it came from the ps2, which is good. So far this is the best fighting game in the ps2. Virtua Fighter 4 is a good game.

When I heard about VF4 I thought to myself "Why play that when you can play Tekken?" I thought that VF4 was gonna suck because all the other VF games on the consoles sucked. But then I took a chance and played it. This game is sweet, awsome, increadable...you name it. Go buy it NOW! Needs more story though like rendered endings or something.
