This game was one of the greatest I have played in the Final Fantasy series. The world was engaging, innovative, and expansive. The enemies were incredibly varied, incorporating new and old enemies to create a new world with hints of the classics spread throughout. The story line was original and kept me enthralled throughout the entirety of the game. It was so addictive that I could play it for hours on end without growing bored of it. While some of the boss fights were hard, the game made it easy to retrace your steps and advance levels to make up for it. It also featured one of the most original technique learning systems I have ever seen in a game. This sphere grid was extremely inventive and open, allowing for countless possibilities and exploration.

This game is my favorite out of all the games out right now for Final Fantasy. Yes liked it better than FF7 so don't get mad haters. The gameplay is awesome along with visuals. Also the story is great and good. I give this 5/5 because I was addicted
from beginning to end. This is a must get while its still out selling.

Yet another game in the Final Fantasy world. This one turned out to be one of my personal favorites. It is a long, wonderful experience that I enjoyed all the way through.

Story: the story revolves around Blitzball player, Tidus, who is of the city of Zanarkand. The game starts off with him playing a game, and after it is over, all hell breaks loose. Monsters are everywhere and Tidus and a mysterious man named Auron, take up the fight. After the battle, Tidus is sucked into a vast portal of light. He wakes up on a ship and doesn't know where he is. The story continues and he meets a young sorcerer named Yuna, who is very significant to this story. Tidus learns of a great beast named Sin, who is a threat to the entire world. Tidus and his friends must stop it at all costs.

Graphics: Beautiful for a PS2 game. The world is rich with color and the characters are well detailed. The cut scenes are absolutely stunning on the rare occasion in which they are played.

Sounds: Decent, though, sometimes dull voice acting. The music is a wonderful score full of classical sounding pieces, to heavy metal themes.

Gameplay: Turn based RPG at it's best. A very simple battle system makes things a breeze and the Grid system is used for leveling up isn't so bad either. You can do extra stuff like play Blitzball as well.

Overall: a wonderful PS2 RPG that no fan of role playing should miss. It's like $10 now too!

A great story, great graphics, great game play. Great overall. Just another great addition to the FF series.

This happens to be one of the best Final Fantasy games. The story is great and the surprise ending is unexpected. My favorite lineup is Tidus, Auron and Yuna. Summons are breathtaking, especially if you get Anima, and Bahamut. The only downside that i found was the difficulty getting certain crests to get your Ultimate Weapons. Cutscences are amazing and the musical score. Blitzball is a cool side game to play.

this was the first of the Final Fantasy series i played, besides the old gameboy ones, and i fell inlove with it. i loved the deep stories, characterization, and short movies. this game really made me connect to the characters and feel like i was part of them. my favorite character is Rikku because of her humor in the FFX2 one which i just recently beat. now i am on to FFXII which isnt as good as X but it is still ok. I CANT WAIT UNTIL FFXIII COMES OUT!! be sure to buy this game if you havent, only if you like deep stories and characters of course =>. great game

I have played good games but never played one better than this one. I t has everything a good game has to have, the sound is the best, the grafics are good, the voice acting is terrific, the dificulty is just perfect, the control can't be better, the gameplay is my favorite and the most important thing, the story is better than any game I've seen or any that will come in a long time. This game was a revolution in the gaming industry. It is my personal favorite. That new way of summoning is very good, the new overdrive mechanic makes the game even funner but the story really gets anybody on to this game. I know that I'm not the only person that got into Final Fantasy games because of this one. All that of Auron being an unsent, Tidus' Spira being a creation of the faith,***************SPOILER ALERT************** Sin being what it is, being the Final Aeon, a sacraficed guardian and after all that, Tidus disapears.

I know it's a LATE review, but this one is for those of you who haven't played this game. Final Fantasy X is the next best thing in the RPG world since Final Fantasy 7. The story is captivating, doing what Final Fantasy games does best. Now with voices for characters, challenging enemies, Aeons (Summons), and a cast of characters that you will always remember. The extra mini-game Blitzball is addicting! If you haven't played this game, you should give it a chance! This is a classic PS2 game that I felt deserved props, even this late in time. This is one hell of an adventure. The story is good, the characters are memorable (Auron) and the combat system is simple. In my opinion a very good RPG that is only better by leaving the text conversations and favoring voice acting instead.

This game is by far the best game to come out on the PS2. Awsome graphics, awsome gameplay, awsome story. You cant get any better than this when it comes to RPGs. SquareSoft, nice work.
