I picked this game up for two reasons, it was four dollars and I have a thing for cute anime babes ^-^ I remember seeing this game when it was released shortly after the PS2 launch and thinking that it looked cool, so 6 years later, I got my hands on it, and I was a bit suprised. The game has a decent story, which is rare in your typical shooter. The graphics on the other hand are ugly and look like a Dreamcast title, but because of it's age, I'm willing to over look that. The controls on the other hand are very clunky. Running and gunning isn't too bad but tasks like jumpinga and pulling off combos are frustrating it's often easier to just shoot somebody then to pull off a combo that will probably just get you killed becuase you'll have to try it several times in order to accomplish it. So in conclusion, if you an anime fan, you might like this game becuase of the anime cut scenes and the story isn't too bad (the games relatively short though) and it's cheap if you can find it, but everyone else will probably regret the purchase.

I dont know what else to say but that this game was bad... it had some momments but not enough to keep me interested. Save your money.

Oni isn't really bad; it's just bland with seriously dated graphics. I can't believe Rockstar overhyped it.. It doesn't even live up to 1/8 of what was said. Having said that, Oni has it's ups, and can prove rather fun when you're bored, but that's it..

This game is kinda dumb. It has nice sound effects and the graphic are somewhat nice. But the controls sucks. Its has a very low replay value and the cut scenes suck too. What Im trying to say is don't buy this game its garbage.

This game to me is terrible. The graphics lack in characters and levels, but cool character designs save this score from being much lower. The sound sucks. The controls, Konoko has too many things that she can do, and they don't fit onto the controller in a logical fashion. So i say only if you MUST just rent this game and see what you think.

Graphics-2.5: Can you say n64? Yes thats right the n64 could do graphics just like this my friends. The backgrounds and enemies are just so dull. Control-0.5: This is where the game just kills itself here. These controls aren't simple at all. It'll take you hours to just master the simplest things like picking up a gun. It would've been nice to have a auto-aim system like in Syphon Filter games. Since when is using all the buttons on the controller innovative? They even make you use the R3 and L3 buttons for crying out loud. And the worst thing is that the camera never centers!! You have to control the camera yourself for crying out loud(I hate games like that!). Sound-3.0: The voices sound a bit muffled in this game. The guns sound nice, and the sound effects are pretty good. The music is just forgettable. Fun Factor-2.5: This game would've been better if the controls would've been set up better. Camera problems make this game a bore too. It no use even finishing this game really if you're like me. Rent, buy, or pass?: Pass

I thought this would be good since i saw the cover but it blows. Man this must be the worst game i played.

there is no emotions, feeling, or just plain fun. i didnt even get that plot that much. to put it simple its just plain boring
