This is the 2nd best sports game I've ever played. And the thing is I don't even like the NHL, or Hockey. I like basketball, and only NBA 2K2 is better than this. Get this game now.

i was thinking it would have been much better, but will work. the graphics are good, but the little clips are repeated over, and over, and over. it was too slow of gameplay for me, but it beats the hell out of Faceoff 2001!

I think the creators of this game were to interested in making the graphics really sweet, and they accomplished that reaaly well. But the game suddenly slows down when u cross center ice. It's like Max Payne on ice skates. But much more annoying. Hopefully 2002 would be a better year for EA. Nice Try.

GORGUES, IS ALL I CAN SAY ABOUT THIS GAME. THE CONTROLS ARE SWEET TOO. ONCE YOU LEARN THEM IT'S LIKE BUTTER. THE GAMEPLAY IS ALSO VERY FAST AND FUN. IF YOU LOVE HOCKEY WHY ARE YOU READING THIS GO BUY IT.

Great graphics, great sound,realy god game but the only problem is easy to score goals. so i'm guessing that the next nhl game is going to be even greater.

Don't get me wrong ppl. I have been a fan of the NHL series since it's debut in 91'. In fact, the only game that I did not buy was in 93' when they tookout the blood and fighting (awww remember the days). But I have found that, ever since 97', the graphics have gotten exponentially better, while the gameplay has gotten exponentially worse. Being the seasoned EA vet that I am, I have no trouble netting 9 goals a game, and with the boosts up, its more like 16, on the hardest setting. Now I know all of you hardliners are loving this game for all of its goals, unrealistic hits, and I don't blame you, it's not that bad. But for all you veterans out there, I know this game is too easy for you, because it's like kindergarden for me. EA needs some competition, to pull their heads out of their colons, and I hope Sega will provide that competition. That way, I will get great Sega Hockey games, and my old "good gameplay" EA NHL series like the old days. Untill then, I'm just waiting..

great game,awesome graphics a must have for any hockey fan!,im not a big hockey fan and i dont even watch it but i do know a few players and the game is just awesome even though im not a huge hockey mark.the contreols are good and the sound is good too =)

Realistic, fun, and fast! Ya can't get any better than this! The replays are eye-candy. Multi-player is where it really shines. A good 'ol 4 on 4 can cure a boring day.
