Man this game Da F****** Bomb. the story lines Awsome. the Grahipics the Controls are not the best. If i Could i would rate 4.9 But its not perfect. this game has Twists and turns. and Maria is Stupid. she scared me more then the monsters. not as scary as a puzzle game. Easy Riddle is too easy set on Middle Diffuculty. if you hate puzzles then this game is full of it.

This is definitely a creepy one...although part 1 did a little more to raise the hairs on my neck..but SH2's graphics picked up on the atmosphere much better...the grainy look is a neat idea..but why are they taking it out of the XBox version? Oh well, this is definitely an engrossing title if your lookign for a good blood bath and like movies such as Hellraiser or Se7en...pick up SH2...it shouldn't dissapoint.

Silent Hill is an extremely interesting game. The foggy atmosphere is very realistic but can get in the way. The graphics are great and sound is also good. Action is not plentiful though. If you like survival horror you must own this game!!

I was amazed. This game was mind bending. Though I've never played the first, I've heard it's pretty good. But this, this is great. In Silent Hill 2, you play as James. James came to Silent Hill because he got a letter in the mail from his wife, Mary. Mary wants James to come to Silent Hill. What's so special about Mary, well, Mary is dead. James takes the road to Silent Hill so he can see his wife. In spite of my appreciation for this game, I admit that I was dissappointed. Being called "The Scariest Game of the Year," Silent Hill 2 still has yet to scare me. It is atmospheric with about as much realism that you may puke, but I just didn't get scared. Anyways, the graphics are surely brilliant. The cinemas are magic. The in-game sequences are grainy like an old movie which is so cool. Every character displays emotions that look real. The sounds are as amazing as the graphics. Many Japanese games have rather corny voice acting (i.e. Zone of the Enders) but this game doesn't. The music is really atmospheric and kicks in alot when action comes along. The voices are seemingly professional while simple footsteps are detailed to the max. The control are basic survival horror stuff with two different settings. This is a great game. Though they could have brought more thrills, this game is a purchase. End of story.

Ok i went out and bought this game thinking its a cheap rip off like the first one well i was turned wrong.The first night i played this i couldnt tell the gameplay from real life.I was so scared and helpless of trying to beat the game and night.So it took me 5 compelling days to beat this scary story.THis is a must buy for the whole family.

This is one of the greatest games yet for the PS2, and certainly the best survival/horror game to date. From the way the flashlight casts eerie shadows, to the way that the music keeps you on edge, you are gonna need a reality break from time to ime during exended gameplay. Definitely not for kids.

I think this game was the best ever. It was freaky creepy just plain horrifying I hope they make a silent hill 3. I wish I could be a part of makeing of silent hill3 I have some great idease for them I have good expeiriance on scary games muhahahaahaha. Thanks for reading my post yayayayayaya.

This is bar far the best horror game ever. It took away my sanity and left me hearing the twitchy nurses and the radio noise everywhere I went. It is a must have game that will leave you breathless. The only downside is some of the camera angles. Sometimes it ends up in front of you and you can't get past it so you're walking down the hallway without being able to see in front of you. Other than that the game is incredible.

This game is the craziest game i have ever played. the game freaked the hell out of me. everything in this game is disturbing. Its a great game and a great experince.(if you like getting scared out of your mind.)

I still have nightmares from this game. SH2 is the scariest game I've ever played. It makes Resident Evil look like a kidde game! If you've ever been scared by any video game, then you'll faint while playing this one.
