best mgs game ever

i played sons of liberty about four time begining to end. the story is awsome. and the part where raiden is naked and the commander guy keeps calling and saying funny stuff is halarious. i also like the part where you fight the metal gears. or where you fight the harrier.

Hideo Kojima will not let you down

Once again, I am surprised by the quality of the Metal Gear Solid Games. This game once again testafies to the quality of its series, and you definitely won't regret buying it.

Tactical Espionage Action

Why? Because I said so! Not as good as the original but you can't really compare to that. I think Raiden isn't that bad.

Good game: yeah it is (MGS:SOL

The best game i've ever bought. Common someone offers me money for this game im grabbing the game and running. Shooting guys, choking them, stealing from them. Now this is what I can fun. After i bought the game i rarly went outside or for that reason got off the couch. I must have won the game 50 times or more, but i know one thing this game is still in my PS2 for at least another month or two.

Sons of Hype

When a game like Metal Gear Solid sets a high bar, the sequal usually will fall pitifully below the ungodly high expectations everyone has for the game. But MGS2 vaults over the bar that was set for it with room to spare. Everything in this game requires you to use your head. In this one the plot twists and the deep conspiracy which you slowly uncover can cause a big episode of paranoia. You can also expect a highly cinematic experience. The cutscenes are long and well written. Plus the graphics in them, and the gameplay, push the PS2 to it's graphical limit. Even now it's hard to find a game that looks better. Your brain will also be pushed to it's limit in this one. The level design and the AI work in a beautiful dance of realism. Every room feels like it makes sense and was well thought about before it was put in. The AI is also extremely smart. The enemy can follow wet footprints, here noises, call in for backup, ect. You will have to use your environment to get by them. Some enemies will make periodical calls to an HQ of some kind, and if they don't check in a search team is deployed. So shooting out his radio or killing and hiding him are essential. If your spotted, an assault team shows up with shields and body armor to methodically search for your wherabouts. Even though the AI has gotten an extreme upgrade, Raiden, oh yea, you don't play snake for most of the game. You play a femenine looking ninja guy named Raiden. Thought I would break it to you gently. Anyway, you can do a sumersault attack, shoot in an FPS view, hang from ledges, shoot out lights, and all kinds of other goodies. The game also mixes it up with exciting boss battles and nerve racking infiltration of the core. The game does seem to preach a bit too much sometimes, but you don't really notice since your too busy getting to the end of this games crazy plot. Hype can be bad, but when a game exceeds expectations, it feels oh so very good.

The best action game with an engaging storyline is obviously Metal Gear

The game is a master peice which is a must buy for all Ps2 owners as it is truly a classic. The only fault is that for diehard Metal Gear fans you only get to play as Solid Snake for the first quarter of the game ,and for the rest of the game you get to play as Raiden,a young new character who you later on in the game is having experiences which are oddly familiar to the previous game Metal Gear Solid. In the very end of the game after the cutscene and credits there is a very odd plot twist as Snake finds out something about a powerful group known as the Patriots. The graphics are truly beautiful ,the sound is crisp, but the only thing which brings the game down slightly are controls which can be a little difficult to use without practice.Otherwise this game is incredible and is a must have.I cannot wait for the next game in the series which will be know as Metal Gear:Snake Eater ,which will be released in 2004.

Best PS2 game ever

Easily the best game for PS2 ever. I just bought it a week ago and have played it non-stop since then. The graphics are the best, sound is the best (espacially the voice acting), and the control is spot on. The only flaw in this monster game is it's painfully long FMV sequences. Most of them get in the way of the action. Some ad to the suspense, but not very many. Some are just BORING...i fell asleep during one once...but it was 2 am, so i guess it couldn't be helped. BEST GAME EVER!
