One of the first of the PS2 launch games. The demo played well, but how did the final come out? Two words: "Wow, man." ESPN X-Games Snmowboarding offers more than just launching up ramps and flying in the air with a six foor piece of fiberglass. A lot more! With various game modes, X-Games Snow lets you ride in competitions, jump over houses, ride slopes freely, heli-board, or even shoot a video. With smooth visuals that hiccups only infrequently, a great soundtrack, and solid controls to boot, ESPN X-Games Snowboarding lets you take top the slopes with style. If you have a PS2, and want a game to suit your snowboarding needs, check into this first, because it's the only "decent" snowboarding game (besides SSX) on PS2. G R A P H I C S - 4.5 Smooth visuals with crystal "unclear" polygons with some nice textures. But it seems a little slow when going downhill. S O U N D - 5.0 Excellent soundtrack with some nice snow effects and grinding. The perfect soundtrack for the near-perfect game. C O N T R O L - 4.5 Solid controls with excellent trick capablities and then such. But it seems like you can't always flip at the speeds you want to: for example sometimes you'll do a lightning fast backflip, and other times, you won't. F U N F A C T O R - 4.5 X-Games Snowboarding is enough to keep the PS2 owner happy until a new batch of winters come along. Just make sure you're actually into snowboarding first.

If your looking for a fast paced all out arcade style game you will HATE THIS its a slow moving simulation game UNLIKE ssx which is arcadish.I like ssx alot lot better but the game so far seems decent worth a rental at most to me.
