It started out good and ended good. although the last boss was waaaayyy too easy. i just wish it was easier to do the mini game. i still cant do it. i would love to play the game from the beginning with the Bishamon sword. there were a couple of times where the game was just a button masher. run slice run slice run slice. but i cant wait for #2.

The XBOX controller sucks. Its huge and awkward. All it is is an oversized Dreamcast controller with an extra stick.

This was a good game....but too short...you can beat it in 2 or 3 hours...opposed to it's pumped up big bro DMC that's easily 15 hours or so.....but still this game was great in it's day and age and had spectacular graphics....especially the CG movies!

This game is simply awesome. I don't know how else to describe it. It is very similar to Resident evil but I definitley choose a sword over a pistol. And you can upgrade that. The game can get very difficult but over time you will get it. The only problem is I rented it and after I beat it twice I did not want to play it anymore. But this is truely an awesome game. And Now I can't wait for its sequel and/or Devil May cry which looks like a combination of Onimusha and Resident Evil, what with the gun and the sword combined. But whatever you do, go out and at least rent this game. It is really that good.

this is a great game ,intresting and kewl,it is just like soul of the samurai ,but better graphics.they should have given samunosuki more weapons other than 3 or 4 swords ,cos latter in the game the souls you collect becomes kinda useless.lets say this is soul reaver+ soul of the samurai. the ending of the game was a tragedy i though it was suppose to be "and they lived happily there after kida stuff"like other games .i nearly cried .so tell me what becomes of samunosuki .
Fun, Kick Ass Game!

The game, no old, by Capcom is an amazing adventure! you slash your way through demons and other things to save princess Yuki! The game starts off with a KIK ASS!!! cg movie and then commence your journey to save her. I thought this was a very fun game, while a bit short the water puzzle is quite difficult, HAPPY GAMING!

Onimusha is one of those games that has a surprise around every corner. You hack and slash your way through hoards of demonds, but dont worry about it wont get boring because each type of demond has different strengths. The story line could have been more ingolfing like Samanosuke could have reacted more and better to what was going on around him. He wasnt even shocked to see all those demonds,if resident evil would have done that it would never had such a great opening cinema as it did in Resident Evil2. Honestly the diaries scattered around the game is more dramatic. Allaround its a decent game that doesnt quite reach perfection.
Can you say Resident Evil in Ancient Japan?

I must admit, I was impressed by this samurai slashing sensation. The graphics are very good-looking and Samanosuke is modeled after Japanese actor, Takeshi Kaneshiro. You can describe the gameplay very easily with only two words: Resident Evil. This is what Onimusha is. Only that it takes place a long time before the RE series. Even zombies are in it. The voice acting is very good as is the music. There are many details too. Like rustling leaves and individual leaves blowing in the wind. The story isn't award winning and some control issuses are the only flaws in Onimusha. This is a great game.
