O.K.

Very fun game. But I beat it in one week, I didn't even play too long like, 30 minutes a day. The only challenge was the bug woman, i beat the game a year ago, so I forgot the name's sorry. But over all O.K. Game.

Hack and slash

I didn't know what to expect when I bought this game. I have to say I enjoyed it even with it's faults. The graphics are beautiful but you don't always get to enjoy the scenery due to the odd camera views. The puzzles and bad guys are not too tough. This is another game where you have to deal with in game bosses which can become a chore. You also can't skip the cut scenes but that's a minor fault. This game does have one of the best opening sequences ever which could be a movie in it's own right. A beautiful fun game that's a little on the short side. Pick it up.

Resident Evil, Samurai Style!!!

This game is great, Its Resident Evil, Samurai Style. The controls and the in-game menu are the same. The graphics are great, and the music score is is good. The voice-overs could have been better, but as I understand it, the producers were in a hurry to launch the game in the United States, so they cut a few corners there. if you ever watched Ninja Scroll from Manga Japanimation, then this will appeal to your anime persona. The demons you fight are challenging but, if you have quick reflexes and a imaginative mind, you will do just fine. One of the few problems I had was the attack combinations. You only have a set pattern per weapon, the good thing was the difference in weapons you have available to you, so it doesnt get to teadious using the same combos over and over. There is a normal Katana you have when you first start out, then you soon get the lightning katana, then you get a fire broadsword, then a duel edge saber, much like Darth Mauls saber. If you really good, you will drop down into the hell mouth and battle it out round after round with demons. there are around 20 levels down in the hell mouth. If you make it to the bottom, there will be a key, and you can use this key to unlock the door to the Bishamon Sword, which is the most powerful weapon you will find. I rate this a 4.5!!!

onimusha +resident evil=the best game for ps2!!!

onimusha:warlords is the best game for playstation 2.First of,the game is about A samurai name samansuke who gets a disturbing letter from A princess who has been kidnapped. You get to destroy the demon monsters with three magical weapons and suck the spirits of the monsters you just killed. With excellent gameplay and graphics,it is the best ps2 game up to date.

Warlords

I first played onimusha way back when before the recent great games like mgs2 and ffx and i say in my opinion that onimusha was a bit underated. Im into the whole samuri demonic war thing so i guess the plot kinda of had me into the game after the first cg. You may already know you play as a skillful samari who must fight agianst a warlord who has pledged his undead soul to the demonds. The pre rendered backrounds are alright and neat. The graphics in general are enough at some points to make you think its above average considering its pre rendered and it came out a while back. The plot is good but the game and plot could of been put together so much better. The potential it had was great but it didnt fully deliever. While still a game worth a purchase (maybey depending on what games you like)it had plenty of room for improvement hence graphics, plot, length, and the amount of abilities you are able to learn. The controls sometimes bothered me but did well for the most part. Its an above average game that will satisfy you for 5 hours or so its fairly easy and fun so give it a try.

Midevil asskicking

I am not really much into these type of games, but the graphics and story were so cool. I am not good at these games either, so just watching a friend play it, is fun too. It is a good buy

Im gonna slash and gash!

ONIMUSHA ROCKS! Thats what best describes this game! Excellent pre-rendred backgrounds, awesome special effects, and kick ass gameplay make for one of PS2's Greatest Hits! If the PS2 had a Greatest Hits lineup, Onimusha would be in it. It has many, some, freaky moments, such as, when you walk through the corridor in the meat eating demon's lair, the guys jump out through their tanks at you. I pissed my pants (almost). But the first time I played with my friend, what we loved the most: SLASHING AROUND WITH KICK ASS SWORDS! Onimusha's bosses are pretty tough, and finding healing herbs can sometimes be tough, where a quick note to when you fight as the girl that fights with Samonosuke, and you fight the boss where you try and rescue the princess, we died right away, (which resulted in dishing out $60.00 for a PS2 Gameshark. So we then beat the game, and we cannot wait for the sequel! Come On Capcom!!!
