Super Mario Galaxy isn't just the Wii's best game... it's the best game of the decade.

Super Mario Galaxy is as good as platforming games get, or any games for that matter. The controls, graphics (the best on Wii), and incredible bosses (including one that you walk on) make up for its shortcomings (bad storytelling most of all) and produce a game that feels like classic Mario, yet simultaneously innovates. The game is just amazing, and it overshadows quite probably any game I've played since the N64 and PSOne with its expert crafting. More importantly, it reinforces why Mario is the mascot of a company as beloved as Nintendo. No gimmicks, no novelty -
