Gameshark Necessary
I won't claim to be a superstar game player, since I'm not, but I am competent enough to finish (almost) any RPG I'm presented with. I'm the first to admit that I absolutely hate level building but I also recognize that it comes with almost every RPG. While some is bearable, an extraordinary amount of leveling is enough to turn me off to the game entirely - which was the leading problem I found with Lunar. Honestly, I'm playing these games to enjoy a great story, appealing graphics and realistic characters - not spend hours fighting the same monsters because my levels are too low to proceed. Additionally, once the ball was rolling with the storyline, I wasn't that impressed; it was average at best (and Nall's voice was horribly annoying). Bottom line: Without a gameshark, I would have used these nicely designed discs as coasters.
