Uncharted: Drake's Fortune

Uncharted: Drake's Fortune - PS3

Pros Cons
Amazing visuals Not enough content
Intense action Doesn't live up to expectations
Addictive gameplay
Tight controls
Could be better...

I heard about this title, and I was pumped! It looked so fun! When I got it however... it was good, don't get me wrong. It was fun I acutally cared what happenend to Nathan Drake, it was so immeresive that I could barely put it down.

But it's biggest flaws are: It's already been done by tomb raider which ( in my opinion) Invented the genre. its short, REALLY short! by the time I got to chapter 19, my save data said I was 88% done!

In the end (SPOILER!!!) the feel shifts from tomb raider platforming, and intense shootouts, (that felt suspiciously like Gears of war shootouts) to something like resident evil 4, and it's not even in the horror genre! anyway I put it down cause I didn't like scary stuff (back then) and did something else.

But overall, I liked it, it's good where it set up shop. (It can curb stomp tomb raider anytime!) but it wasn't what ps3 owners were expecting from such a prestigious company (naughty dog) so it was fun but I advise this one as a rental.

i agree but with the new trophy it now worth playing

Yeah... it was smart of naughty dog to incorporate that in there before sony made their own trophy system... but I wouldn't buy it sheerly for the trophy system, but if you can afford to spend $60 dollars on a clone (that still and yet does it better than Tomb raider :D)

then yeah... But in my time with it I almost finished it on a seven day rental... so it's more or less a one you'll appreciate more as a rental.
