Fallout 3

Fallout 3 - PS3

Pros Cons
Intense action Not enough content
Addictive gameplay Doesn't live up to expectations
Innovative concepts Unresponsive controls
Just plain fun
A dissapointing but fun game.

I really thought this was going to be an amazing game and it almost was, it's starts amazingly enough with you literally being born, the tutorial taking you through childhood and your teenage years, and the story starts up awesomely enough, and even the game is awesome, but then something happens, i'll explain later in this review.
Graphics: When you set foot in the Wasteland you feel really lost and weak, and all the destruction around, makes the graphics look depressing, like it should be, the graphics are nicely detailed but cause destruction doesn't look rather appetizing so that's it's flaw, but it was made like that. One My biggest gripes with the game is it's commonly present slowdown ( specially in the last main quest mission) and game game commonly crashed, and it's disappointing, because the PS3 has so much power and they basically dropped the ball on the PS3 version, Bethesda disappointed me with this. It has some great visual effects like blood splashing on your face when shot or shooting someone closely, the way a nuclear explosion affects your sight, with blurry sight for a while, and the like. The terminal and pip boy read out are horribly small and make you squint, at least in the pip boy you can change the color, unlike the terminals, with that neon green. The character models are vastly improved from oblivion and the gore is awesome ( specially in slow mo, when using the VATS). It features some of the best explosions ever.... blow up a car and you'll see... 4.5
It's controls (specially the hotkeys) were imprecise how many times i pressed the correct direction on the d pad and it either reacted slowly or never did, though the aiming was actually tighter than i expected, you can do some serious running and gunning here. 4.5
The sound was nothing special, with repeated voices throughout the game. 4.0
The game is addicting as hell... until you reach level 20 ( the level cap!!!!) and then i lost interest in exploring dungeons ( though they are some awesome dungeons regardless of the situation, but non regenerating dungeons also affect replayabilty) and it's story starts awesomely enough but then it felt flat some key twists didn't really affect me ( though there are some that are AWESOME), and the endings ( 200 endings my ass) were disappointing. Another disappointing thing is that when you finish the last main quest you are locked out from the rest of the game, the missions are amazing but that really made the game feel annoying, make an extra save so you can see the ending, and then keep finishing the rest of the game and exploring.
It seems a really negative review of it, but it's still worth buying so you can experience those first 20 levels that were the most addicting ones in my life, it fails were oblivion ruled, it's addicting longevity and the shear freedom it gave you. SO after finishing the main quests, reaching the level cap and exploring the crap out of the game, one quote immediately popped in my head, from Star Wars Episode III: Obi Wan: 'You were The Chosen One! It was said that you would destroy The Sith, not join them! It was you who would bring balance to The Force, not leave it in Darkness!'
In short it's a good game, not the amazing game it was supposed to be.
Fun factor: 4.5

Why did you give it five stars when it's not perfect?

you can't put half a star, so that's the next option

Do everyone a favor and don't waste precious internet space with such ridiculous reviews ever again. You're completely contradictory and you don't even bother proofreading your own garbage.

Ha, I agree with fortissimo!! Fallout 3 is by far one of the best games that has been bestowed upon my humble Playstation 3 gaming station and deserves much better than this review!!

if you would read it, i said that it was an amazing game during the first 20 levels, AFTER you reach the level cap, it just isn't interesting, i never said it was a bad game, i just said it had lots of bugs ( FACT), the story isn't all that ( FACT), it's a GREAT game, just not the amazing one it was SUPPOSED to be. I explained my self enough, if you don't get the message of this ( FIRST 20 LEVELS= OWNAGE, AFTER YOU REACH LEVEL 20= BOREDOM) you fail, once again it's worth your money, it's worth playing, it's a great freaking game, BUT... i explained myself enough. It was an honest review. I noticed this was done on the same day as my Metal Gear Solid 4 Review. Did you take inspiration in my formatting?

Anyway, I actually didn't like Fallout 3.

To the people saying it deserves a better score, write your own user reviews if you have such a problem with the way he's expressed his own opinion.>
