It's a me!

Mario games have been around for years, but none of them can compete with the original side-scrolling adventure games that focused on simple platforming gameplay and collecting power ups. This of course, is not to knock the efforts of the recent Mario Galaxy, a great title. I did, however, miss the old school days of Mario, were simplicity was the key, and this title brings that back.
The graphics are standard Mario backgrounds with new 3d Mario models as well as enemies. Bright and colorful. The sound is full of classic Mario Music and old school sound effects that bring back good memories from gaming's past. The controls are tight and Mario is a breeze to control. I don't think Mario can have bad contols lol, the game is so simple. The story is just the typical Bowser captures Princess Peach and it's up to you to rescue her. Gameplay is just classic side scrolling Mario with lots of Power ups all over the place that enhances the fun factor by giving yo some awesome, powerful abilities, like turning into Giant Mario.
Overall, this is a great, fun DS game that is perfect for quick plays when your on the go. It may not have a deep narrative, but it will keep you playing through it over and over due to it's timeless gameplay and appeal!
