The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion - PC

Pros Cons
Addictive gameplay Repetitive gameplay
Tight controls Terrible multiplayer
Innovative concepts
Just plain fun
Loads of content
Awesome audio
Engaging story
Intense action
Still Holds Up to More Modern Games

First of all, "terrible multiplayer" actually means NO multiplayer. This was an extremely good follow up to Morrowind, which is still one of my top five games of all time, and upped the ante in the area of side quests and visuals. I had close to a hundred hours logged when I finally realized that I hadn't actually started the main quest yet, which was even more engaging, but the side quests did seem to get a little repetitive with the exception of the daedric and other more difficult to acquire quests. I wish, however, that I could add as a con that, until the patch that came with the GOTY edition, the AI was too good... way too good. The menus, inventory screens, map, and character creation was refined a lot from Morrowind and, although there are many things in Morrowind that I liked better, that does not take away from how good this game really is.
