Awesome audio Poor storytelling
  Not enough content
  It's boooring
  Repetitive gameplay
Worst GTA to date.

Okay well like most people say about this game "It sucks." And i 100% agree with those people. GTA IV did NOT live up to the hype. San Andreas was so much better despite, IV having better graphics, and better physics. I'm talking about how GTA should've been folks! IV didn't have the following:
- Did not have different types of missions (not just shooting people)
- Missions weren't challenging at all!
- Did not have a grasping storyline
- Did not have a lot of weapons
- Did not have a lot of cheats
- Stunts were impossible
- Did not have "Mission Failed" etc. when you're done beating the mission.
- Did not say "Busted" or "Wasted" when you die or get arrested.
- Map was very small compare to SA. But i have to give credit. It really does look like NY.
- Did not have a lot vehicles.
-Lastly, IT WAS NOT CONTROVERSIAL AT ALL! THAT'S WHAT MAKES A GTA GAME AWESOME. IT HAS TO BE CONTROVERSIAL. LOL.

P.S: I've noticed that Rockstar omitted a lot of things in IV. Hmmmmm...maybe if it was a PS3 exclusive and took advantage of 50 GBs it would have been better? maybe? who knows?

Hi Everyone. I've been a long-time reader first time poster to this site.

In my opinion, when comparing all of the recent iterations if GTA, III and forward. GTA IV is worst in terms of story and some critical gameplay concepts.

What I didn't like:
1. The people you beat up hardly drop any dough (Remember in SA, when you wanted some "paper" you jack a gangster or drug dealer and you get quite of bit of money?).
2. NYC, I mean LC without bribes??? and the paint n' spray is useless (that was one of the funniest things about previous iterations of the game.
3. Given how everything you do catches the cops attention, it would have been nice if they didn't get rid of the stealth kills, that were available in SA. (it's like they deliberately made the game a police state... cops everywhere and almost impossible to shake if you get three stars... )
3. I felt the weapons selection weren't that good.
4.No properties purchases to generate wealth like in SA or VC.
5. No airplanes to fly?
6. The game took too much time trying to make a social commentary ( I play a GTA game for fun, unabated political incorrectness not to listen to political drivel: if i wanted that play a social commentary then I'd play MGS)
7. I'm sorry but I have enough REAL friends calling me on my phone to do real life things with... I don't need an AI buddy giving me a guilt trip because I didn't feel like playing darts three times in a row!
8. The music blew.

What I did like:
1. The best looking GTA to date.
2. Great use of physics. I take back my not funny comment... it is pretty funny slamming an SUV into a compact car and seeing the people in front fly out of their cars because they don't have seat belts on... or when you take an SUV and smash into a smaller car the people catch fire in the car you hit... subtle but hilarious.
3. Online, I enjoy playing it. Some is better than non. LOL

All in all, after finishing GTA IV I was left thinking, "Meh. No desire to get 100% completion."

I agree,

GTA IV is great with graphics physics etc etc

But , the main reason I like games, is if they are FUN or not.

GTA IV is not fun.

Its dull and boring.
