WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Party Game$

Even though its an exact copy, its not a bad one.

Ive never had the fortune of playing the handheld version, and I have to admit I was curious about it though. A friend rented it and between me and him (mostly me) we beat the single player mode in about two hours. We passed the controller back and forth in order to give each others minds a break.

Some of the games left us scratching our head, but thats part of the fun: trying to figure out what to do between each game and remember them while doing all the others. In single player mode, the games tend to get harder and they definitely get faster. One of the better things that has helped me & my friend out was practicing the games before and during the single player mode. Another good thing was continuing in the same spot after you lost all your lives rather than starting over from the complete beginning.
The multiplayer mode can get seriously crazy between 4 people, especially when you have to distract the player while your own character jumps around and blocks the other players view. Also, having a turbo button on your controller helps too (lol, sorry Grant).

The graphics, as stated in the Gamespot review, is the same as the GBA game, but bigger. Like I said, Ive never played the GBA version so I have no real idea what to think of the graphics. They held together, never lagged, colorful, crazy, and did the job. So there are no real complaints. Except one. Even with the low amount of graphics, I would suspect that there would have been more mini-games to play. There already is a huge amount, I just thought there would be at least over 500.

The sound is hilarious sometimes. At certain points you dont know what to make of the sounds, others may leave you laughing. If youre five years old. But after about three or four hours of playing, the sound can tend to become annoying from the monotony.

With enough friends, this game will last you a long while. But after youve beaten all the games and can remember most of them, it eventually becomes a good waste of thirty or so minutes. Maybe while you wait for dinner to be done, or a friend to pick you up. I suspect with the GBA version it can come in handy when waiting for a movie to start or long car rides.

I for one like the game, I dont think I'll buy it anytime soon, but I enjoyed playing it. The multiplayer can last for a few weeks at least before some one says "Lets go play Mario Party." Then it starts all over again with Mario Party. lol (Again, sorry Grant.)
