Soldier of Fortune II: Double Helix

Soldier of Fortune II: Double Helix - PC

Tears of. . . .Well lets just say it isn't joy.

I just have two things to say about this game. I'm sure by the time I'm done you'll know how I feel about this game. There I am with my back pressed against the wall slowly moving towards the open door. I get right up to the edge of the door and peek inside the next room and a guy throws a grenade, but luckily he misses the opening to the door and it hits the wall. I pull back away from the door, but for some reason the grenade goes of and kills me. Apparently the shrapnel from the grenade pierced through the wall and hit me. Well I figured that might make a little sense. That was until I had my next experience. There I am with an M60 at hand looking to kill me some bad guys. I slowly enter a room and find a guy facing the opposite door waiting for someone to come through. Perfect target. I approach the guy from the back, position myself at point-blank range, and shoot the guy right in the head. The next thing I knew I found the guy stabbing me with a combat knife! He didn't die?! Why the heck didn't he die?! For those who don't know much about guns an M60 was known to put tennis ball size wounds into victims from yards away. How can a grenade shrapnel pierce through a wall and kill me, but an M60 point blank doesn't do anything? This game is a joke and a stupid one at that.
