Great Improvement
Well, once again, EA Sports comes out with its NBA Live series, and once again, I was expecting only a few upgrades and a few new dunks. Well, I got that, but much more than I thought. Graphics: First of all, I have no problem with 2005's graphics like everyone else does. I actually think they are pretty good. The faces for most of the players are dead on, and even the secondary players are generated nicely. The courts are still amazing, and they have fixed that crowd problem that 2004 had. But, there are still some problems, like players dunking behind the goal and the like, but you can kinda look pass that. Gameplay: This is the meat of all sports games. Some say that the gameplay hasn't changed that much from 2004, but personally, I think they have. There is a much cleaner flow to the game, and its not just a dunk fest in all the games. The computer actually gives you a good game, I mean, I went undefeated in the entire season with the BULLS in 2004 with the settings on Superstar. The stars play like stars, and the other players, sometimes play like stars. Is it me, or does Eddie House rule this game on Superstar. There are other problems like too many blocked shots. I mean, Melvin Ely should not be able to have 7 blocks against Yao Ming. But overall the game plays wonderfully. All Star Weekend: I really don't have to tell you guys about this mode, im sure everyone has covered enough for me. Just let me say this, its great. Overall: Live 2005 is a great game, and I really can't wait what they add in 2006 to make the game better.
