Better than average

NASCAR 2005, Chase for the Cup is a better than average racing game. The graphics are worse than 2004's, the sound quality is a little worse, and the controls are a lot different. But the career mode is fun to play, and the multiplayer is respectable. Overall, not a bad game, but not the best. A respectable try from EA to make a really good racing game.
