Kinda worth it for the fans of MK1, if you buy the Kollector's Edition...
The movements for this game are really weird. Jumps are very gradual and slow. It looks like they tried to combine the new 3-D format of MK with a little more realism and fluidity, but to me it just isn't right. I appreciate Deception a lot more now. There was a lot of skepticism, especially on my part, but the present sees me still with my Greatest Hits copy of Deception, and only the remake of MK1 and the Sub Zero card left of when I bought Deadly Alliance. Yes, I resold it. The game is huge with a lot of extras, and Sub Zero is cooler with a mask. Still, the control is awful. They even took out Scorpion's awesome R1 swordswipe. I found myself spending more time in nostalgic bliss with the MK1 disc.
