The Game is a Must Buy
I don't usually do this kind of thing but this game is a huge exception. Xenosaga ep2 is simply a must buy. The story is amazing, the designs and graphic are excellent, and the battle system is simply to die for. Not mention the music is just amazing, see I'm a music person and this game just really out did it when it comes to music. Sometimes I just put the game in just to listen to the music. Exploring has more of an importance in this game than it does in the first. Since they got rid of money and shops you have to do a lot of it to get the items you need. But that does make it hard in fact you'll find yourself not even using your items that often, because of the ether skills. (Though you may have to use an ether pack here and there) But as I was saying before the music will really bring you into the surroundings. Imo Game play has gotten better in this game, to make up for less cut scenes. You get to solve a lot more puzzle, EXPLORE like I said before, and there's a better battle system that emphasizes team work. One big plus in the game (for me) is that the random people serve more of a purpose. They interact differently with certain characters, they provide comic relief and (my personal favorite) you get to help them with their problem (the GS Campaigns) and receive cool items and double techs. Overall I give this game two thumbs up. People who have grown attached to the first episode may have to get used to the character designs and new voices, except chaos' his is just awesome.... Anyway I was very pleased with the game, and I look forward to more.
