Just disapointing
After the great DMC original they come out with a sequal that you can only say "man improvement's on the first one how could they go wrong?" Well they did. They focused way to much on detail and just ruined the already fun and easy to grasp gameplay. The control's are easy to learn but you can almost never completly master. Though the combat controll's are solid and walking on wall's and doing back flips off of wall's ect are welcome move's. The check item button (action button) is the button for jump so the whole game you will be flipping around while you are trying to check stuff if you are not in the proper position to check somthing. The story line. . . . . . I mean what happened, you take one of the more creative storyline's as of late in video game's. . . . and I would like to say they destroyed it but 3 year's later I still am kind of fuzzy what is going on. I mean I know what the conclusion is about but it's a Dual disc game and in order to grasp anything out of the game you have to play both disc's. Each disc being a broken story line. Instert other disc to fit in hole's. So the first time you play the game threw it is going to just be like WTF? And the second time it will be a slightly more understanded WTF? The game is also extreamly easy. And I am talking on the most hardest level of difficulty I beat the game in less than 1 hour. Which bring's me to my next point that this game is extreamly short, to short and easy. I mean if you couldn't just walk threw this game. . . eh mabee then it would just be short but tis game is crazy short. Both disc's of gameplay will probably take you a total of 3 hour's max to beat. The only bright spot in this game is the grafix. The grafix look extreamly good this game is loaded with eye candy. It's just unfortunate that this is the only real plus the game bring's to the table. That and the audio the Sound FX are spot on, and the OST hit's it's mark once again. Overall I really wouldn't suggest this game too to many people. I mean if you are absolutly love the first one and really feel the need to play as Dante this will definatly fill your void for a couple of hour's. But it's just a lack luster sequal rolling with the thunder of it's original.
