Half-Life 1 and 2
Let's start with HALF-LIFE 1, Ok so this game is very cool. The controls are very good. But....When you move you run very fast and that get's annoying. Anyway this is one of my favorite games. This is how it starts: In the beggining Gordon Freeman (the person you are in the game) needs to get to an a room to do an experiment on something. But... Something went wrong. Now he is stuck in a place where the whole thing is infested with aliens or what ever the HELL the things are. That's all I kan tell you write know about this game lets get on to the Second Game: With Half-Life 2, there were only two questions: "Did you get into the tiny theater tosee the half-hour PC presentation?" and "Could you believe what you sawwhen you got in?" Valve Kept Half-Life's return a secret for four years, so when gamers finally got a glimpse, it was nearly complete (the game ships in just a few months) and thoroughly stunning. Scientist/action here Gordan Freeman has escaped the Black Mesa Research Facility and accepted a deal from the creepy G-Man at the end of Half-Life. Now he's in City 17, which is overrun by more interplanetary freakshows--some of which happens to be 30 feet tall, but others of which will fight by your side. HL2's heart is the Source engine, which enables incredibly detailed physics--you'll see object and enviroment interactions with more realism and logic than ever before, from the subtle behavior of floppy mattresses to using barrels as shields and crushing enemies under heavy containers. Plus, it all lokks freakin'n gorgeous--water distortion effects, breathtaking lightning, and downright eerie facial animations. Oh, and the game is headed to the XboX, too. Someone tell John Carmack that the bar is about to be raised.
