A good fighter
One of if not THEE first fighter on the PS2, deliveres but misses at the same time. The feature we all love from the first DOA is back, being. . . . . . the Girl's. I mean let's face it if it wasent for the jiggle physic's of DOA it would have just been overlooked as a medocorate fighter. But DOA2 take's the sex apeal from the first game in the series and deliver's it will a solid fighter this time as well. The control's are different for most every character. Taking you a while to master this game. Though every fighter should be that way if you can just pick up a fighter and be the best in 20 min's or less it probably aint going to last for to long. The audio of each scene is done very well the OST fit's every stage nicely. The level's of the game are done well, with quite a bit of detail for such an early PS2 game. The level's of the game often can stem out into other part's of the same level for instance if you fall of a building into the street's of a city, ect ect. Kind of standard in today's fighting genre. The grafix as stated are very well done for an early PS2 game so if you are interested in picking it up and playing you wont really notice aging all that much. This game is extreamly fun if you get together with some friend's and fight against one and other, the story mode is kind of lacking. Though there are unlockable's such as outfit's, feature's, ect. ect. That will keep you into the game for a while. Overall this game is a rather good fighter and has aged well. I would not sway somone away from buying this game, expecially with the 5 dollar price tag it probably cary's now.
