Finally, some light saber action

Ever wished you could wield a light saber? In Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith, you get that chance. As a Judi Knight, you must master your light saber throughout the game, so you can vanquish evil. Finally, all Star Wars' fans can breath a sigh of joy because your prayers have been answered. If you like the movie, then you will love this game. The game is very cinematic. A cut scene will show a clip from the movie, and without missing a beat, continue as an in-game cut scene with characters rendered from the game. The player feels as if they are a part of the movie. The game is limited, however, by this linear game play with little room to roam freely. The fun factor makes up for that minor shortcoming tenfold. The camera angles are good the majority of the time and the combat system holds up well. It does take just a little bit more strategy than button mashing your way through the game, but not much. The player can use experience gained from each level to increase the skills of their choice. The game is to short. The default degree of difficulty offers little resistance as the average gamer can slice through this game in an afternoon. The couple bosses in the game may require you to play them 3 or 4 times to beat them, but levels are a breeze. There is plenty of variety in the levels and the story. You will not be able to put this game down. It does offer 6 bonus missions once the player beats story mode. No 2-Player story mode though. I would also like to see a mode that offers all of the best Star Wars characters from all the movies and allows them to battle it out in complex arenas with light sabers. That could be a stand alone game in itself. Despite these things, the game tells a wonderful story and is very entertaining in many ways. Don't miss out on the second best Star Wars game ever (the first being Star Wars Battlefront). Rent it today and enjoy. ~Kevin Nuest
