Disappointed.
I bought this looking for nights of fun and leveling up to 99 with all my buddies like we did with Dark Legacy. The content in Seven Sorrows is completely lacking. We beat the game on impossible in 3 hours. That was it. Game over. No secret characters. No more than 3 weapon and armor upgrades. No more than 10 levels. In Dark Legacy there we 5 levels for every world, and about 10 worlds, it seems. No reason to level up the character anymore, because they already were way overpowered. No secret stages. No special items to use. There's just a combat system in place of the considerable amount of content in Dark Legacy. This game seems rushed, like many other Midway games have seemed lately. Go back to Legends and Dark Legacy. Go back to NHL Hitz and forget about making pretty games with more depth than content. Midway has always been popular because they used to say, "Forget making games with no content or fun. People play video games to get away from reality, not to simulate it." C'mon Midway. Where's the real Gauntlet sequel I was looking for. We spend hours and hours on Dark Legacy every night just leveling up. This took us, no joke 3 hours to beat on the hardest level and to get all the upgrades. Terrible, terrible job. Please give me 50 dollars back. I trusted in Midway that they wouldn't release a contentless game. I was wrong.
