Just as good as the first and better
At first I was skeptical as to wether or not Max Payne 2 would be worth the 50 bucks. Lets just say that this was 50 dollars well spent. MP2 has better graphics, improved bullet time, and a great story. You start out as Max, and you wake up in a hospital. You find out that you're a murderer and so the game backtracks you to the night before. That's when the real action begins. You slowly unravel the mystery of how Max ended up in the hospital with gunshot wounds and how he murdered someone. There is intense action during the game and the sweet bullet time just got sweeter. At times, if your bullet time meter turns yellow, you can move faster and fire faster than normally. This gives you a huge advantage against enemies and you can kill them before they even have the chance to fire off a round. The graphics for MP2 have also improved a lot since the first game. The visuals are much cleaner and sharper. If this isn't enough for you, then whenever you come across a t.v. or people talking, tune in, because sometimes they have helpful advice or it's just funny listening to what they're saying. A really good one is in the police station. Don't think the game ends when you finally get back to present time when Max wakes up in the hospital because it keeps going from there. Rockstar did a superb job on this sequel. It would be foolish not to buy this game.
