It's Tricky Tricky tricky trick tric tri tr t....
Yes a good game, but not a "great" game. SSX Tricky does a fine job of delivering spills, adrenaline, and a sense of attitude. But where it fails is in its ability to keep you interested. SSX delivers smooth graphics and vivid, colorful worlds, with only an occasional hiccup. SSX's sound package isn't exactly what customers asked for: the music has no variety, but the voice overs are comedic. Control? Who needs it? SSX has good control when it comes to down hill racing and tricking out, but its majorly difficult to pinpoint a small space, like landing on a rail. Yet, with all its minor vices, SSX Tricky is good for those seeking a fanciful, extreme game with lots of action. But don't get it if your seeking a simulator or a good snowboard game, instead, look into Amped: Freestyle Snowboarding. G R A P H I C S - 4.5 Smooth graphics with texture-full walls and snow along with vivid worlds and good detail. SSX suffers only from occasional hiccups during the really high-graphical terrain. S O U N D - 4.0 Good voice-overs with lots of variety and comedic taunts to the other boarders. The only problem is the music package, you rarely get to hear the It's Tricky song, and the other music is just plain stupid. C O N T R O L - 4.5 Good for down hill racing and tricking out, but occasionally gets slippery and it's hard to pinpoint an exact location and land on it. Other than that, SSX can be operated by a three year old. F U N F A C T O R - 4.0 SSX Tricky makes a good first impression, but will eventually grow old. If you want matrix-style fantasy, get this game. If you want realism, get Amped.
