Made me mad, but that's okay
You know, this may be one of the most fun ive played in a long time. And it's not because of the great control sceme, of the half-way decent graphics. It offered up a great challenge even on the easiest difficulty.(and yes, that is how i played the game. I would have broken my PSP otherwise) The game put's you rightin the thick of battle. All you got is semi-automatic weapon, a couple of grenades, and the tutorial. You need this tutorial! It teaches you how to play the game and helps with your stratigies. The aiming mechanic works well, but I wish it was easier to stay on target. I found my self dieing alot just because of the fact that I kept missing my target. I also found myself using the AI buddy whenever I could. That was probably a stupid move... The AI is practically brain dead. A couple of time they even shot me on purpose! That doesn't quite add up to the relentless stream of enemies that comes after you. It doesn't help when they have the best aiming I've ever seen in an AI opponent. Now for a change of subject, the good things. This game does awesome on most of it's challenges that you would think would hold it back. The third person camera workes amazingly well. You could tell when enemies or an important moment was coming up because the camera would shift to show you the best angle of them. And before you through grenades, it has a yellow outline of where they will go. This makes them ultra accurate and satisfying. Like Gears of War for the 360, this game is kind of a "pop and shoot" game. The best offense is a great defense in this game. My best advantage was the ability to roll and duck behind something to wait for the enemy to have to reload. Then you shoot their brains out. In all honesty, there were points in this game that made me pull some of my hair out. (like the boss battle with Cobars robot, that thing's insane!) But nonetheless, I loved this game. The multi-player is good, but this really isn't a game designed for multi-player death match. I prefer the co-op mode. This is a good game and I recommend it to anyone that likes war games
