Geometry Wars: Galaxies

Geometry Wars: Galaxies - Wii

a real videogame

First of all this is how games should be. there is not much of a story. at the beginning of the game you start off only being able to play at one galaxy, and you can only play at one planet. and to unlock the others you have to beat the first planet, but every other galaxy you have to buy the planets. you buy the planet with geoms(the money). you can also buy upgrades for your battle drone. your battle drone helps you kill the enemies or collect geoms. the upgrades are: Attack- it is the basic upgrade that you start with. the drone says next to you and shoots randomly. Defend- the drone stays behind you and shoots backwards. Collect- the drone goes and collects the geoms for you. Snipe- the drone gets a new weapon and hits the bigger targets for you. Sweep- the drone circles around you hittig anything in your way. it wont fire. Ram- the drone goes and hits everything, but doesnt shot. it also moves freely. Turret- the drone shoots at the enemies and roams around freely, it also has the most powerful gun. Bait- this is the most expencive upgrade, the drone goes and makes the enemies follow it. My favorite is Turret, it get you the mst points. overall there are 60 levels, including the levels that you can unlock with the ds. there is multiplayer. you can play vs. mode or co-op. the wifi is just leaderboards, it is cool to see all the high scores. and there is the original geometry wars you can play, and you can download it to your ds. alright, now for the controls. you can play with the classic controller (which is the easiest) or you can play with the wii-mote and nunchuk. the controls are hard to get used to, but once you get the hang of it you wont want to turn the game off. so overall the game is really fun. graphics are great, the controls are fun and the sound is clear. this is a must buy.
