Call of Duty 3 - Xbox 360

Doesnt cash in on enough opportunies

Over call of duty 3 stays to its roots of haveing the games classic fast paced single player campaign with loads of action on screen and great effects. The only problem with this, is the battles that you take place in are not very widely know and sort of lame. The game looks and sounds great, much better then past games. But where the game doesnt cash in is in its multiplayer. Cod2 was known for great online action where you could easily get into a game and get into it for hours. Unfortunately amping up the players in this one to 24 doesnt make things better, and the vehicles can be rather boring. It feels to much like a pc shooter now with just trying to add as many players as possible. The level designs are incredibly weak, and i dont know why they didnt take the maps from singplayer and put them into multiplayer. And the final part, the weapons. They sound great and all sound powerful, but are incredibly unbalanced. The Allies have an easy advantage with guns such as accuracy and stopping power. The axis guns sound strong but would be more useful as bb guns. Also leading to the teams being unbalanced with 16 players on allies and 6 on axis. If your planning on a great multiplayer expierience, cod3 isnt it. Single player however is this games strong point but could have easily been better.
