The ninth installment in the Final Fantasy series returns in style and this second look comes courtesy of the recently released import version from Japan. As mentioned in our previous report, the game gets back to its roots and simplifies things a bit. Early impressions from our resident Japanese speaking gurus give the story a huge thumbs up and comment that the characters also have tons of personality. One of the GamePros went as far as to say it's the best installment since part 6 (also known as part 3 here in the US for the SNES). Check out this fresh batch of screens and look for an official Hands On once we get a US version.
