Anyone who says the PlayStation is dead is sadly, sadly mistaken. Square seeks to prove this point with Final Fantasy IX, the latest in what's become the benchmark RPG series. In FFIX, you'll play as a number of characters, including the swashbuckling Zidane Tribal, the lovely Princess Garnet, and the mysterious and bumbling black wizard ViVi. Going back to the cute, fantasy-inspired character designs that served Final Fantasy well in the past, Square has decided on a more unrealistic feel to contrast with the exhausting realism of FFVIII.
