E3 Watch: Metal Gear 4, Gears of War, Red Steel Demos Confirmed

Metal Gear Solid 4, Gears of War, and Red Steel to show off new gameplay at E3

The official E3 site has unveiled new details on the speaking lineup, and three key next-gen games are now slated to get a "behind the scenes" presentation. It's expected that the presentations will show new game footage.

Cliff Bleszinski is scheduled to show off the upcoming Xbox 360 survival horror/action game Gears of War. The game is being developed by Epic Games and is expected to appear in stores this November.

Hideo Kojima will give a presentation about Metal Gear Solid 4, the PlayStation 3 game that many believe will propel the hugely successful series into a futuristic, wartorn setting. Konami has said little about the game's release date, and given the PS3's delay, all bets are off.

Finally, Xavier Poix will show off Red Steel, the recently announced Nintendo Revolution shooter. The game promises to take full advantage of the Revolution's wireless controller to pull off complicated slashing and shooting motions. Red Steel is expected to release with the Nintendo Revolution this fall.

All three presentations will be held on Wednesday, May 10, with the first starting at 1pm.
