After somewhat lukewarm opinions from its showing at E3 this past May, GT2000 takes a 90 degree turn and improves on everything you'd expect to be fixed.

After somewhat lukewarm opinions from its showing at E3 this past May, GT2000 takes a 90 degree turn and improves on everything you'd expect to be fixed. First off, the graphics look amazing. Tracks look extremely detailed and realistic and the car details have been pumped up as well. More importantly, the controls are fantastic. It looks like they're closer than ever to finding the right balance between realism and good game controls. Of course, perfection takes time and the release date has slipped yet again to early 2001. From what they've shown so far, the wait should be more than worth it.
