Tecmo released an awesome PS2 version of Dead or Alive 2 when the system launched in Japan, and now they're completely rewiring the babe-a-licious brawler for American shores! DoA2: Hardcore promises all of the madcap action of the Dreamcast and Japanese PS2 versions of the title, but it will also include new secret characters, more costumes, exclusive fighting arenas, and new tag team moves for every possible tag combination. You'll also see better lighting and shadows than found in the Dreamcast version, and the game will have English and Japanese voiceovers as well as the option to turn on English subtitles. All of your favorite guys and gals are here, including Lei Fang, Bass, Tina, Kasumi, Leon, Ein, Gen Fu, Jann Lee, Ayane, and Hayabusa, along with at least two characters that will be new for DoA2. There are even different storylines based on what difficulty level you play. With all this and more, DoA2: Hardcore should make waves when it launches with the PS2 on October 26.
