Hands-On: Chaos Legion

Follow the story of a swordsman who tries to rescue his old friend from evil?blah, blah, blah. The true story of Chaos Legion will be its nonstop action.

What can be more finger numbing than a classic 2D infinite-combo beat-em-up? Try a 3D infinite-combo beat-em-up named Chaos Legion with the emphasis on chaos. In fact, an early build of Chaos Legion packed plenty of action; players could deliver powerful attacks using simple button presses against a bevy of scary-looking monsters. But the fight won't be a solo jaunt: Chaos Legion?s highlight will be the ability to summon an attack element (basically, a big spirit brute) who will be your partner in crime as you fight evil across the land. Though the battle system was intact in the preview version, the graphics needed much improvement. Still, if Capcom stays on track, look for some nicely controlled chaos this summer.
