From the same people behind the Spyro franchise comes the newest PlayStation 2?exclusive action/adventure title, Ratchet & Clank.

Ratchet & Clank is the newest action/adventure opus to hatch from the same minds responsible for the Spyro series, and even platform-jaded gamers are sure to enjoy the dazzling visuals, and wicked combination of exploration and RPG gameplay elements. Insomniac Games has been working for over two years on the project, and graphically, the results are already impressive. The preview build featured futuristic and hyper-technologically advanced environments teeming with moving spaceships and fantastic characters.

You'll play as Ratchet, a furry space alien, as well as his partner, Clank, a little droid with a heart of gold. By collecting thousands of bolts, which are hidden in boxes and dropped by vanquished foes, you?ll be able to purchase dozens of unique weapons to blast, pummel, and immolate your foes. Along with other gadgets, such as zip lines and Clank's helicopter upgrade, each item will be tailored toward different obstacles, objectives, and situations. Ratchet & Clank will be released exclusively for the PlayStation 2 this fall.
