Game Description
Set in the Matrix universe, THE MATRIX: PATH OF NEO will enable players to actually play as "Neo," the central character, and relive his most important and memorable scenarios from the complete film trilogy, including the original film, THE MATRIX. Throughout the game, the path the player takes to resolve each scenario and the resulting consequences will be scripted and directed by the Wachowski Brothers. The likenesses of all of the films' key actors -- including Keanu Reeves ("Neo...), Laurence Fishburne ("Morpheus...), Carrie-Ann Moss ("Trinity), and Hugo Weaving ("Agent Smith...) -- will be featured in THE MATRIX: PATH OF NEO, which will also include footage from all three feature films, as well as THE ANIMATRIX.

I know its April 2, 2008 but I just bought the Path of Neo this week. Seeing how this game has been out for three years now the graphics are obviously very outdated. So forget about the graphics...this is a pretty good game. Not great but it's worth $17.99 from your local GameStop. If you like the Matrix Trilogy this game is for you.
the watchowski bros had a great idea

the matrix path of neo is just like the movies. it's got tones of weapons and it will test your mind with stuff it;s a little challenging but if you beat it it's worth it.
This isn't a huge accomplishment but.... THIS IS THE BEST MATRIX GAME EVER

I love this game Graphics 4.0: Pretty, but at the same time it was rather blocky and there was alot of slowdown for a fast paced action game Sound 5.0 Great music and voiceovers one of the strongest points in the game Control 4.5: Very nice control It was very responsive and I never had one problem but, 600 MOVES? My @$$ I couldn't even count 100 And besides you didn't even need half of them since the game is way too easy and short Fun Factor: Good graphics, AMAZING SOUND, GREAT control. And one Hella cheesy ending makes this a good experience and my advice, skip the cutscenes they don't explain $@#$
Combat Awesome...Yet Repetitive

Path of Neo i found to be repetitive. With the advertised 600 moves i kept pulling off about the same 5 moves the entire time. The only difference was the couple of upgrades you can obtain for them. Combat looked (and played) awesome, you didn't have to do massive button combos. Which was a bonus, just keep pressing the square and triangle buttons... The levels are mostly the same, kill every man (or computer program) in your way. However i must admit fighting the millions of Smiths was quite fun. There's nothining like smacking around hundreds of Smiths with a huge pole. However i'd recommend playing the game on the hard difficulty, normal was WAY to easy i never died once... Other than those flaws it was a solid game. FAR better than Enter the Matrix. Deffinitely worth a rental if you're a Matrix fan.
