This game wasn't great, but it was an absolute blast to play. I was wondering how they would pull off the fighting fatalities in a beat-em-up game, and I was truly pleased. I was really excited when I found more than two fatalities per player.

adding Sub zero and Scorpion as playable characters was fun, but I never bothered to play through the game after I beat it with Liu and Kung Lao.

I think this is a must own title, especially with the Kollector's pack coming out.

why didnt they just keep MK the way its supposed to be...one on one fighting not some gay RPG. this game is a waste of money!

For me there are only 3 topics that need to be discussed for any particular game... they are Control, Fun Factor, and graphics.... i dont bye into that whole sound thingbecause it doesnt do anything for me... The control: The control of this game is perhaps the best ive ever seen in an MK game... with evvery other MK game i had to sit in one spot and try so hard to make a special move to work... in this game its simpl; you just hold R1 and hit a either Triangle,Square, or Circle... its also really easy to jump around and get major combos... The fun factor: Possibly the most important thing for a game to have.. if it isnt fun you most likely wont play it for very long... and this is so fun me and my friend got about 50% through in 1 day... we just couldnt stop... with all the different fatalities that are really easy to activate and the endless combonations of hits and throws that you can do to elimnat your enemies.. wether you just wanna throw people out of your way or go all out and kill every single thing in your way its just a fun game to play... The graphics are the reason why this game doesnt get a perfect score... they are pretty good and most people wouldnt care about the little details anyway.. In all this game was a blast to play alot of hidden things to unlock and play so dont think if you beat the final 3 bosses (which is really hard and youll probably have to play it safe during them) your done.. because you still have atleast 5 more hours of gameplay to find everythiong else..

shaolin monks is a great game alone the fighting has some action in it but what makes the game even better is it's co-op mode so that you and your freind can play with each other destroying the enemies right and left but the best part is the interaction in the fights and the different things also how you have to ask around and go back and do things to unlock other things which is why i give it a 4.0

Now im a big fan of mortal kombat i've played and own every one. no one can tell you more about it then me. but im not about to do that no one wants to read all that. so here it goes it seem that mk can only go up from hear it seems every game the pump out is become a success. as i played decepition i was a little made test your migth and site were gone so i did not think i would like the new ones but they were gerat.and when sholine monks came out i just bougth it to keep up my record but is soon as the miny movie was over me and my ferind went carzy he din't even like mk but after that he was asking to borrow it. no more than 5 seconds of gamplay we were hooked. so now with the upcoming title of mk armagondon i cant wait to play it. thats why i give mk a 4.5 just because i did not like the wait for loading i was pump up and ready and then cooled off waiting to figth so to ed boon and the staff keep it up.
