Well after u defeat Skeith and destroy the Parasite Dragon, Mutation comes in. Part 2 tells you mostly how this virus came in and it's history. It's in this book called the Epitaph of Twilight. Just in case I am telling you too much, the same controls are like last time and you get a new data draining power called Drain Arc. You get 2 new friends (Wiseman won't be used until the 3rd volume)and plenty of new armor,weapons, and power-ups. If you want to finish all 4 chapters heres some info on the 2nd one for ya. And I wouldnt recommend it if you hadn't finished or started the 1st one. It would be somewhat too complicated for ya.

.Hack infection was ok game with horribly flat textured environments and boring repetetive gameplay. >hack mutation is just more of the same crap. find a dungeon fight a bunch of stupid randomly generated enemies fight a boss virus get a useless item. Repeat. There is nothing new about this game at all. All in all in sucks.

Fennex fox go check dot hack 1 out and look again you can change their armor and weapons. plus the story line is great the battle mode is the best and if you watch the show it makes it a whole lot better.

I dont care what Fennex Fox says, I believe that the game itself is not quite on the level of some games and the camera control is kinda klunky but overall the game's concept and execution is Great. The simulated MMORPG is one of the coolest ideas I've ever seen and when played in conjunction with the tv show the game has good depth and story progression and saying that it deserves a 3.5 is wrong it is not 4.5 or 5.0 material but the game is good. And Fennex Fox is wrong you could change anyone s equipment in the first game you just have to give them stuuf as a gift and go to the party menu and Change equipment an voila it was done.
