I started playing video games in 1985 I guess, My mom use to drop me off at the local youth center w/ a pocket full of quarters so she could go to work. I would play All the arcade games from Space Invaders to Street Fighter. I got my first game console when I was 8, it was a NES. My favorite game to play on it was Excite Bike. I liked it because it allowed me to build my own tracks and I thought that was so cool. I even had a subscription to GamePro around that time too. I eventually got a SNES after begging my mom for one for my 10th birthday. I loved Yoshi's Island, I think I beat it like 200 times, lol. My uncle Scott got me into the SEGA Game Gear when I was 13. Hes been my gaming mentor since I was little, he's had every gaming console and hand held ever maid. I really wanted a Game Boy but he said that the Game Gear was way better as far as graphics and game play so I saved up and got one. It was cool for a while then I started to notice it wasn't doing so good so I kinda strayed away from gaming for a while. When I was 17 I decided it was time to graduate to a more grown up system like the Sony PlayStation. I hated selling all my Nintendo consoles but my mom said that if I wanted the PlayStation I had to sell everything else. I made almost $200 for all of it and the money went towards buying my PlayStation. I was so excited about getting it that I called my uncle and screamed in the phone.. "I FINALLY GOT MY PLAYSTATION!!", he just laughed and said "Well, now you need to be saving up for the PS2". I was so behind in my consoles that when I got my PS1 the PS2 had been out for a few years. So i waited till I was around 23 and bought my PS2. I love my PS2, I kissed it as soon as I took it out of the box. The first game I got for it was Street Fighter Anniversary Collection. I got it because It reminded me of the days back at the youth center when I was cutting my gaming teeth. Now I have my PSP and I love it just as much as my PS2. I got it last Christmas from my husband. Loco Roco is my favorite game so far and I just ordered Thrillville because, like Excite Bike, it allows you to build stuff and I still thank that is the coolest thing ever. Aimee (Rat~)
