They discover Elaine has been declared dead, the Governor's mansion scheduled for demolition, and a slick politician, Charles L. Charles, gunning for her job. As Elaine scrambles to launch a re-election campaign, Guybrush is dispatched on a seemingly trivial legal errand that catapults him into a maelstrom of thievery, voodoo, and experimental prosthetic devices.

Gamers must use cat-quick reflexes, cunning and resourcefulness to solve puzzles, defeat a variety of enemies, and fight their way through the castle to find Daphne and save the kingdom from Mordroc's clutches.
